Setting the record straight

Okay, so after long intense deliberation, all of us here at Plaid Again have decided that The River, written and preformed Bruce Springsteen, is the best song ever recorded.

AND… the cover of The River by Crooked Fingers might be just as good as Bruce’s version, if not better.

AND… Even tho Jimmy Eat World is basically a boy band for wimpy dudes in thick black frame glasses, the album Bleed American is an amazing record from start to finish… Sorry folks… It just is. Its just as hard to say as it is to hear (me saying that, not the album).

May 21, 2010You had me with The Boss. You had me more by dropping proper on my favorite band, Crooked Fingers.
Jimmy Eat World, though? C’mon, Gordo. I’d back you (with a shy wince) if you mentioned Clarity. But Bleed American?!
This is bigger than the time you said Fred Schneider had the best singing voice out of all of the Athens, GA music scene.
