My old man

This is a painting I did of my dad and myself from around 1998/1999. Apparantly I think I look like a chicken?

    Howard was a rad dude. I miss him, and I think about him from time to time. What an awesome father to have granted you basically full access to use the back yard for whatever you (we) wanted skate related. Sometimes when you weren’t home and no-one was over skating, I would just sit and chill with your parents and chat about random topics and current events. They were always so warm and welcoming to guests.

    I agree… your old man was the best. I still have that yellow blazer that I got from him. So stylin’. Your mom is pretty f’n awesome, too. What happened with your brother?!

    Any dad that would let some random crazy white boy dance around in his back yard wearing a home made Tiki God Costume musta been an OK guy.
