Lowcard headquarters

Indo and I went over to the LCHQ for a little rainy day rollin.

The ramp is pretty much one of the hardest ramps to skate ever, so of course I love it. Backside grinds are next to impossible…

And if you stop by the LCHQ you’re bound to see some weirdness like this…

Dude? Whats up?! Are we gonna make it into the next mag?
Fuckn Lowcard….
Worst mag ever.

The life of Buddy… (Plaid’s 150th)

Even Buddy the Bear is into skateboarding now. Thanks again Ryan Sheckler! Matter of fact… I think I’d rather see a show called “The Life of Buddy” way more. It would be a hell of a lot more interesting that’s for sure!

PS. This is the 150th post on Plaid Again… so if you’re reading this go ahead and pat yourself on the back for being (more-than-likely) one of maybe 4 people that gives a shit… hahahaha. I’m cracking a brew right now to celebrate!

Joe Petrali (born to ride)

Joe Petrali was a bad ass. No one can argue this. In 1937 Joe set the land speed record of 136.2 mph on his 1937 Harley Davidson E61 V-Twin Streamliner at Daytona Beach, FL.

For all of Joe’s accomplishments, of which he has many, the Harley-Davidson dealership in Oakland has this statue right out in front. Seeing it was the first I had ever heard of Joe Petrali, so I decided to look him up. Dude was sick.

According to the Motorsports Hall of Fame, Joe Petrali was born to ride a motorcycle.

Space Vacation Video
Good old “Indo” (the video master) cranked out this gem SO quick! No big deal. The video has an all star cast featuring Tony Farmer, Schmitt-stick, the Wizard!, and Clair all raging while Space Vacation (Jay Dog, Scott and Andy) plays “Keith’s Sister” in their practice space! Personally I think Indo nailed it with this one. Good work!
Full screen that piece on YouTube!

Punkrock Jukebox! (puddin)
Field Agent Puddin got his 1969 Wurlitzer Statesman Jukebox back up and running. It plays 33-1/3 and 45 rpm 7’s (depending on the center hole size) and he’s got it hooked up thru his Apple AirPort Express so he can stream his iTunes playlists thru it while a record isnt playing… RAD!

Dice Magazine

Dice Magazine is SO sick. Amazing motorcycles, rad old skate photos, and ads that you give a shit about (if you give a shit about motorcycles), need you know more? I ended up getting Dice a this comic book shop across the street from Cruz called Caffeinated Comics. I let the guys there know I was looking for it (Ol’ Dirty D let me know whats up) and they started getting them in no problem. Thanks guys!
Puddin, Francis, find this magazine. You two will love it. Trust me.

Kooks come in all shapes and sizes

One of them might even have purple fur all over his bike. Do you think he has a purple outfit to match? Or does he ride around town with nothing on but a black leather thong and a hot pink helmet that says “I live for Folsom street fair” on the back of it??

Little Magnethead

I have no idea why I ended up with this photo of Magnethead as I kid, but I do remember where and how. I was helping him move some stuff with my truck and this was left in it when we are all done. I found it later the next day. “Is that Rob?” I thought. Sure enough it was. Little Rob living in Maine and dreaming of ripping on vert. Magnethead was a bad ass even when he was 10.
